Chris Mittleman, Managing Partner / Chief Investment Officer

Chris serves as the Chief Investment Officer for Mittleman Brothers LLC and its subsidiaries. From 2002 until 2005, as Senior Vice President of Investments, he managed private client portfolios for Spencer Clarke LLC. From 1990 to 2002, Chris was an Investment Executive at UBS (PaineWebber). He began his career in 1990 at Shearson Lehman Hutton, after attending Phillips Exeter Academy, and the Pennsylvania State University.

Phil Mittleman, Managing Partner / Chief Operating Officer

Phil serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Mittleman Brothers LLC and its subsidiaries. Previously, he was Managing Partner of Blue Hill Ventures LLC, Voltron Ventures I L.P. and Voltron Ventures II, L.P., which are all venture capital funds with investments in a variety of industries. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Mythic Paint. From 1991 to 1999, Phil served as Executive Vice President of the Kushner-Locke Company, a Nasdaq-listed entertainment company. He began his career at Kushner-Locke after attending Kent School, and Trinity College.

Dave Mittleman, Managing Partner / Chief Client Relationship Officer

Dave serves as Chief Client Relationship Officer for Mittleman Brothers LLC and its subsidiaries. From 2005 through 2006, he was Co-Founder and President of Coastal Capital Group, LLC in Danvers, Massachusetts. From 1998 through 2005, he served as Vice President of Investments at Morgan Stanley, and from 1996 through 1998 held various roles at A.G. Edwards. He began his career in May 1995 at Dean Witter Reynolds after attending Kent School, and St. Lawrence University.

Evan Newman, Director of Marketing & Business Development

Evan serves as Director of Marketing & Business Development for Mittleman Brothers LLC and its subsidiaries. Prior to joining the firm in November 2010, he was Senior Vice President of Client Service at HS Management Partners, LLC, an SEC-registered investment advisor that he helped launch in the Fall of 2007 with a number of his former colleagues from W.P. Stewart & Co., Ltd. He was previously Vice President of Client Service at Times Square Capital Management, LLC, following five years with W.P. Stewart & Co., where he was Vice President of Client Service & Marketing. Evan began his career at J.P. Morgan Investment Management in 1999 after attending The Peddie School, and the University of Miami.
